Field Equipment Lending Library (FELL): A FREE Resource for City Agency Employees

We supply the tools to help them do it.


Brought to you by the NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services Energy Management (DEM), the CUNY School of Professional Studies, and BPL, FELL is fully stocked with equipment for measuring, diagnosing, and optimizing building equipment and systems, from boilers to air handling units to solar panels.

Together, DEM and CUNY have trained more than 2,000 New York City facilities personnel in skills that help them:

  • Eliminate energy waste
  • Evaluate & maximize building systems performance
  • Improve occupant comfort

Through FELL, we provide them with the specialized equipment they need to get the job done.

FELL has a NEW Satellite location, located at 31 Chambers Street for those that have an easier access to the downtown area, please provide us with a 2-day lead prior to pick-up, due to that we have a limited amount of equipment at this location.
